Contenidos: conceptualizacion actual, constantes historicas, perfiles del alumnado, repercusiones del cambio tecnico-laboral. Parte empirica: dise\u00f1o \u00abex post facto\u00bb, lonfitudinal ( 85- 92), de dos cohortes de un politecnico publico de 500 estudiantes cada una. Tecnicas clasicas de analisis.  conclusiones. Descriptivas: solo el 33% se titula de fp1, y el 6% de fp2, desde el ingreso. Rendimientos de distribucion anormal que correlacionan con todas las variables subjetivas, entre las que destacan autoconceptos academicos, percepciones del clima escolar y del profesorado, y valores interpersonales.  predictivas: con 6-9 predictores, r s entre .62 y .68 en 1fp1, y .50 en 2fp1. 70% de predicciones correctas.  diferencias interespecialidades, intergenero, entre graduados\/as de fp1 y fp2 y no graduados\/as. Nucleo desciende en valores.
