Se realizaron 78 ex\u00e1menes artrogr\u00e1ficos y los pacientes fueron distribuidos de forma aleatorizada en tres grupos de 26 cada uno, dependiendo del sitio elegido para la punci\u00f3n: tercio superomedial de la cabeza humeral, tercio inferomedial de la cabeza humeral y espacio articular glenohumeral. Se utiliz\u00f3 una placa con coordenadas radioopacas para realizar la artrograf\u00eda. Se registr\u00f3 el tiempo de radi\u00f3logo y el tiempo de exposici\u00f3n a la radiaci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como la intensidad de dolor experimentado por los pacientes, mediante el empleo de una escala anal\u00f3gica visual (vas). Los distintos grupos se compararon usando un an\u00e1lisis de varianza y el m\u00e9todo de m\u00ednima diferencia significativa. la artrograf\u00eda se realiz\u00f3 con \u00e9xito en todos los casos. La media de exposici\u00f3n a la radiaci\u00f3n fue de 20.9 \u00c2\u00b1 7.8 (sd) milisegundos, y el tiempo medio de radi\u00f3logo fue de 6.4 \u00c2\u00b1 0.8 minutos. La media de la intensidad de dolor con la escala vas fue 1.7 \u00c2\u00b1 0.9, y los valores menores se observaron en aquellos pacientes en los que la punci\u00f3n se realiz\u00f3 en el tercio superomedial de la cabeza humeral. Los tiempos de radi\u00f3logo y de exposici\u00f3n a la radiaci\u00f3n fueron tambi\u00e9n menores en este grupo, con diferencias estad\u00edsticamente significativas entre el tercio superomedial y
