Para ello, se utiliza una metodolog\u00eda relativamente novedosa (el enfoque de empleos), cuyo punto de partida es la utilizaci\u00f3n de empleos en lugar de individuos como unidad de an\u00e1lisis: un objetivo secundario de esta tesis es contribuir al desarrollo de los fundamentos te\u00f3ricos de este nuevo enfoque. El anclaje te\u00f3rico de la tesis es el concepto de divisi\u00f3n del trabajo, que se aborda desde una perspectiva estructural, atendiendo a la diferenciaci\u00f3n propuesta por marx entre divisi\u00f3n social y divisi\u00f3n manufacturera del trabajo. Los resultados muestran que en el periodo estudiado, hubo una considerable diversidad de pautas de creaci\u00f3n de empleo en europa: se defiende que, pese a que todos los pa\u00edses est\u00e1n sometidos a similares factores de cambio (tecnol\u00f3gicos y de comercio internacional, principalmente), el impacto de tales factores sobre la estructura del empleo en t\u00e9rminos de calidad est\u00e1 mediado por factores institucionales.  in this dissertation, the structural evolution of european labour markets between 1995 and 2007 is studied, from the perspective of job quality. For this purpose, a relatively new methodology is used (the jobs approach), whose starting point is the use of jobs instead of individuals as unit of analysis: a secondary objective of this dissertation is to contribute to the development of the theoretical foundations of this new method. The theoretical anchor of this dissertation is the concept of division of labour, approached from a structural perspective, following a distinction proposed by marx between social and manufacturing division of labour. The results show that during this period, there was a considerable diversity in the patterns of job creation in europe: it is argued that, despite being subject to the same underlying factors of change (technology and trade, primarily), the impact of such factors on the structure of employment in terms of job quality is mediated by institutional factors<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
