Jos\u00e9 romera castillo, con el fin de fomentar el estudio del teatro desde una perspectiva diferente. Merecedora de importantes galardones en espa\u00f1a y de un notable \u00e9xito en el extranjero, la dramaturgia de ang\u00e9lica liddell est\u00e1 considerada como una de las m\u00e1s vanguardistas del teatro europeo contempor\u00e1neo. Sin embargo, hasta la fecha no se hab\u00eda acometido una investigaci\u00f3n seria, completa y documentada sobre su obra, sino mediante estudios parciales. Este trabajo se apoya en distintas ramas human\u00edsticas y sociales (tales como la filosof\u00eda, la psicolog\u00eda y la historia) teniendo tambi\u00e9n muy en cuenta la actualidad pol\u00edtica y social. Sin este enfoque, la obra de ang\u00e9lica liddell perder\u00eda gran parte de su sentido ya que est\u00e1 fuertemente arraigada en los asuntos y problemas presentes.  en este cometido, he tenido que afrontar una gran carencia bibliogr\u00e1fica. No ignoraba cuando decid\u00ed arriesgarme a trabajar con una autora poco estudiada, que esto a\u00f1adir\u00eda complejidad a mi exploraci\u00f3n. En ausencia de referencias bibliogr\u00e1ficas, he tratado de completar mi mirada sobre ang\u00e9lica liddell con un an\u00e1lisis exhaustivo de sus obras. He recurrido al repositorio bibliogr\u00e1fico del centro de investigaci\u00f3n teatral de Madrid, a la biblioteca nacional, internet (donde m\u00e1s abunda informaci\u00f3n sobre la autora) y organismos como el instituto de la mujer o amnist\u00eda internacional, que me ayudaron a  contextualizar los temas que liddell trata en sus obras.
