Debido a esta simplicidad, mycoplasma representa un organismo atractivo para llevar a cabo estudios a nivel gen\u00f3mico. Se espera de estos trabajos que pretenden describir de forma cuantitativa el organismo entero que ayuden a entender los principios b\u00e1sicos de la vida.  para el estudiar con profundidad del transcriptoma, se ha hecho uso de una combinaci\u00f3n de datos de \u00abtiling arrays\u00bb con especificidad de hebra, ultraseq\u00ed\u00bcenciaci\u00f3n y m\u00e1s de 252 microarrays. Tras analizar los resultados se ha detectado una alta presencia de transcritos alternativos (42%) dentro de operones y un alto contenido de arn de tipo \u00abantisense\u00bb (89).  tambi\u00e9n se ha realizado un estudio detallado del metabolismo. Se ha revisado y completado manualmente el mapa metab\u00f3lico de m. Pneumoniae, lo que ha permitido el dise\u00f1o de un medio m\u00ednimo con el uso de 19 ingredientes esenciales. El mapa se ha completado con diferentes medidas de indicadores de biomasa, metabolitos y flujos. Tambi\u00e9n se ha estudiado la regulaci\u00f3n de metabolismo mediante microarrays.  por otra parte, se han medido sistem\u00e1ticamente las interacciones prote\u00edna-prote\u00edna mediante \u00abtandem affinity purification-mass spectrometry (tap-ms)\u00bb. Este an\u00e1lisis ha detectado 178 complejos proteicos diferentes, los cuales han sido complementados con modelos estructurales, microscop\u00eda electr\u00f3nica y tomograf\u00eda electr\u00f3nica.  mediante la integraci\u00f3n de estos datos, se puede mostrar que este peque\u00f1o bacteria esconde un inesperada complejidad con caracter\u00edsticas como la frecuencia de transcritos alternativos y arn \u00abantisense\u00bb, una red metab\u00f3lica peque\u00f1a pero fuertemente controlada y una alta organizaci\u00f3n del proteoma .<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
