Estas t\u00e9cnicas de optimizaci\u00f3n se aplican a la soluci\u00f3n de problemas de dise\u00f1o de estructuras en los que hay que minimizar una funci\u00f3n de coste, generalmente el peso o volumen de la estructura, sujeto al cumplimiento de unas restricciones probabilistas obtenidas a partir de los estados l\u00edmite. Las acciones, propiedades del material, variables geom\u00e9tricas, etc. Se consideran como variables aleatorias. Estos m\u00e9todos se pueden clasificar como m\u00e9todos de doble lazo, m\u00e9todos de lazo \u00fanico y m\u00e9todos desacoplados. Estos m\u00e9todos se han codificado en un programa inform\u00e1tico que integra procedimientos de las \u00e1reas de an\u00e1lisis estructural, fiabilidad estructural, an\u00e1lisis de sensibilidad de dise\u00f1o, programaci\u00f3n matem\u00e1tica y simulaci\u00f3n de monte carlo. El programa obtiene el dise\u00f1o \u00f3ptimo basado en fiabilidad en problemas anal\u00edticos y problemas estructurales: estructuras planas y espaciales utilizando diferentes m\u00e9todos. Se han estudiado la eficiencia computacional, convergencia, exactitud, generalidad y robustez de los diferentes m\u00e9todos (rbdo) analizados. El programa dispone de m\u00faltiples opciones configurables por el usuario. Por ejemplo: restricciones en desplazamientos, tensiones y pandeo, \u00edndices de fiabilidad objetivo para las restricciones, tipo de distribuci\u00f3n de las variables aleatorias, dependencia entre las variables aleatorias, m\u00e9todo de an\u00e1lisis de sensibilidad de dise\u00f1o. Los resultados obtenidos se verifican mediante el m\u00e9todo de simulaci\u00f3n de monte carlo con muestreo por importancia centrado en el punto de fallo m\u00e1s probable de cada
