En el primer cap\u00edtulo se describe la s\u00edntesis selectiva de aductos knoevenagel por reagrupamiento de \u00e9steres proparg\u00edlicos catalizado por complejos de pt(ii) y cu(i). Aspectos destacables de este proceso son la complementariedad estereoqu\u00edmica de ambos catalizadores y la eficacia de los complejos de cu(i), raramente utilizados en procesos de isomerizaci\u00f3n. En el cap\u00edtulo 2 se describe una s\u00edntesis regioselectiva de furanos funcionalizados a partir de \u00e9steres bis-proparg\u00edlicos. Esta reacci\u00f3n en cascada es consistente con la participaci\u00f3n de complejos furil carbeno de cobre(i) como intermedios de reacci\u00f3n. En el cap\u00edtulo 3 se describen las reacciones de \u00e9steres bis-proparg\u00edlicos y diazoacetatos simples y sustituidos con un grupo alquenilo. En este \u00faltimo caso la reacci\u00f3n no conduce a los alquenos esperados sino a ciclobutenos mediante un proceso que implica ciclopropanaci\u00f3n  y reagrupamiento del ciclopropildiazoacetato resultante. Finalmente, en el cap\u00edtulo 4 se describen nuevos m\u00e9todos de s\u00edntesis de ciclobutenos y azetinas mediante procesos en cascada catalizados por complejos de cobre(i) y que implican la
