No obstante, hay suficientes evidencias textuales para pensar que esta tendencia, digamos, matematizante, no es un\u00edvoca, en el sentido de que spinoza tambi\u00e9n se deja llevar por un concepto intuicionista, o instrumental, del m\u00e9todo matem\u00e1tico, como si lo que importara de verdad fueran las intuiciones, y no la escrupulosa red demostrativa que rodea un teorema, o proposici\u00f3n filos\u00f3fica. Es m\u00e1s,  el sistema de spinoza no se decide por una de las dos posibilidades, lo cual puede interpretarse en t\u00e9rminos de perplejidad inherente al razonamiento -barroco- de nuestro fil\u00f3sofo.  de modo que, deliberadamente confusa o no, la filosof\u00eda de spinoza tambi\u00e9n representa el esfuerzo de la modernidad por ofrecer a las personas un acercamiento espiritual a la vida, sin miedos, ni dioses, pero compatible con el desarrollo tecnol\u00f3gico y cient\u00edfico. En definitiva, el sue\u00f1o de descartes y leibniz, pero m\u00e1s all\u00e1, y m\u00e1s valiente.
