Descripcion del trabajo 1.1. Introduccion el objeto de nuestro trabajo ha sido el estudio numerico de los vidrios de coulomb. Estos sistemas presentan una fuerte localizacion de las funciones de onda de los estados electronicos debido a la presencia de desorden y una interaccion de los portadores mediante un potencial de coulomb. El estudio numerico se ha realizado mediante simulaciones de monte carlo, con objeto de caracterizar las propiedades vitreas de los vidrios de coulomb a muy bajas temperaturas. la motivacion principal para el estudio de estos sistemas radica en el interes sobre problemas abiertos en la teoria de los estados electronicos en los semiconductores dopados. Emergieron a mitad de los a\u00f1os ochenta, y a dia de hoy siguen siendo objeto de discusion. El estudio de los semiconductores dopados ha resultado fundamental con el paso de los a\u00f1oos, ya que las impurezas juegan un papel principal en la mayor\u00eda de dispositivos electronicos. la presencia conjunta de desorden e interaccion es la causante de la presencia de efectos vitreos. En un sistema cristalino perfecto se puede aprovechar la simetria traslacional de la red para hallar las funciones de onda de los portadores en virtud del teorema de bloch. La interaccion de una particula con el resto puede sustituirse por la interaccion con un potencial promedio, debido al apantallamiento de la carga electrica.
