El cap\u00edtulo 1 plantea el problema, las hip\u00f3tesis, los objetos y la metodolog\u00eda general a emplear, el an\u00e1lisis del discurso. El cap\u00edtulo 2 introduce y describe la metodolog\u00eda espec\u00edfica y el proceso de la investigaci\u00f3n, destacando los aspectos innovadores y diferenciadores de ambos. Se parte de la identificaci\u00f3n y definici\u00f3n de palabras clave, para realizar un an\u00e1lisis de contenidos e inferir de \u00e9ste \u00faltimo el an\u00e1lisis del discurso global. el cap\u00edtulo 3 revisa las teor\u00edas sobre el nacionalismo y las definiciones de los t\u00e9rminos asociados. El cap\u00edtulo 4 hace una s\u00edntesis de la doctrina social de la iglesia sobre los conceptos designados por los t\u00e9rminos anteriores y de ambos procesos se extraen las palabras clave para el an\u00e1lisis de contenidos. el cap\u00edtulo 5 se dedica al autor-emisor y analiza el mundo y la obra de karol wojtyla previos a su pontificado. El cap\u00edtulo 6 realiza un an\u00e1lisis de los contenidos de las enc\u00edclicas de juan pablo ii, mientras que el cap\u00edtulo 7 lo hace de los mensajes para las jornadas mundiales de la paz. El cap\u00edtulo 8 trata dos casos particulares: espa\u00f1a e italia. el an\u00e1lisis global de contenidos y del discurso, y la s\u00edntesis conclusiva se desarrollan en los cap\u00edtulos 9 y 10. Las conclusiones se presentan en forma de proposiciones y macroestructuras que muestran el sentido nocional de tipo ideol\u00f3gico que juan pablo ii asocia al t\u00e9rmino nacionalismo, sobre el que basa su juicio negativo del mismo.
