En esta tesis estudiamos un tipo particular de estas interacciones, de car\u00e1cter transitorio y altamente espec\u00edficas, d\u00f3nde un dominio globular en una prote\u00edna reconoce un corto p\u00e9ptido lineal en otra (dmis). En concreto, identificamos m\u00faltiples casos de dmis en estructuras tridimensionales (3d) de alta resoluci\u00f3n y analizamos las bases moleculares de su especificidad. Adem\u00e1s, derivamos par\u00e1metros estructurales globales que nos permiten identificar nuevos casos de dmis. As\u00ed mismo, y como caso pr\u00e1ctico, combinamos el motivo de fosforilaci\u00f3n propio de la quinasa humana aurora a con diversas clases de informaci\u00f3n contextual para predecir y validar 90 nuevos substratos. Por \u00faltimo, incorporamos las caracterizadas dmis en nuestra base de datos de interacciones en 3d (3did) con el fin de diseminar nuestros resultados entre la comunidad
