Se han establecido los valores de las consatntes de disociaci\u00f3n \u00e1cida, o de protonaci\u00f3n en su caso, para los equilibrios \u00e1cido base de estos herbicidas. Sobre la base de los resultados voltam\u00e9tricos y polarogr\u00e1ficos, as\u00ed como de otras t\u00e9cnicas complementarias, se han propuesto mecanismos de reducci\u00f3n. Se estudia tambi\u00e9n la adsorci\u00f3n sobre electrodos de carb\u00f3n vitrificado de herbicidas s-triaz\u00ednicos modelo simazina, simetrina, terbutrina y promet\u00f3n. Esta adsorci\u00f3n es independiente del potencial y sigue una isoterma de langmuir, pudi\u00e9ndose determinar los valores de las constantes de adsorci\u00f3n y de las entalp\u00edas de adsorci\u00f3n. Se han investigado los herbicidas quinol\u00ednicos quinmerac, quinclorac y un compuesto modelo, \u00e1cido 8-quinolino carbox\u00edlico. En los procesos de  reducci\u00f3n, el electrodo se recubre mediante nucleaciones 2d instant\u00e1neas y el n\u00famero de electrones intercambiados es de uno. En general los procesos de reducci\u00f3n sobre electrodo de mercurio consisten en la competencia entre un proceso ece y otro de electrodimerizaci\u00f3n, con algunas diferencias entre los diferentes compuestos estudiados. En el caso del quinclorac en medio b\u00e1sico la reducci\u00f3n es bielectr\u00f3nica y de primer orden con respecto al reactivo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
