Dichos datos oceanograficos consistieron en una coleccion de medidas adcp (perfilador de corrientes marinas por efecto doppler) y ctd (perfilador de temperatura, conductividad y profundidad).  los resultados corroboraron la gran utilidad del sar\/ers-1 en la deteccion de procesos de mesoescala, tales como la presencia de la corriente liguro-provencal-catalana, la influencia del ca\u00f1on de palamos sobre dicha corriente y un gran eddy en la parte oceanica del mar catalan.
