Bajo estas condiciones se analiz\u00f3 la capacidad de la tilapia en auto componer una dieta con dos distintas metodolog\u00edas: comederos a demanda y encapsulamiento de macronutrientes. Adem\u00e1s, se estudiaron la selecci\u00f3n de dietas de distintas fuents de l\u00edpidos, selecci\u00f3n de dietas de alto contenido vegetal a\u00f1adido de fitasa (enzima que mejora la propiedades nutricionales de la dieta) y tambi\u00e9n la capacidad de la tilapia en auto seleccionar una dieta equilibrada en amino \u00e1cidos (con o sin las propiedades orosensoriales) y la auto suplementaci\u00f3n de amino \u00e1cidos esenciales. Tambi\u00e9n se analiz\u00f3 los ritmos de actividad alimentaria.  \tcomo resultado, se obtuvo una ampliaci\u00f3n del conocimiento previamente existente sobre el sistema circadiano de peces
