El trabajo desarrollado se ha estructurado en dos partes: en la primera parte se describe una nueva estrategia sint\u00e9tica hacia terpenoides con esqueleto de abietano y de podocarpano, a partir de (-)-esclareol. El anillo c de las mol\u00e9culas objetivo se obtiene mediante ciclaci\u00f3n radicalaria oxidativa de un adecuado beta-ceto\u00e9ster insaturado, mediada por mn (iii). Entre las sustancias naturales sintetizadas se encuentran (+)-15-hidroxiferruginol, (+)-ferruginol, (+)-sugiol, (+)-6,7-deshidroferruginol, (+)-6alfa-hidroxisugiol, (+)-12-hidroxi-6,7-secoabieta-8, 11,13-trien-6,7-dial, (+)-7-desoxinimbidiol y (+)-nimbidiol. en la segunda parte de la memoria se describe la s\u00edntesis enantioespec\u00edfica de un grupo de terpenoides bioactivos, que poseen el esqueleto poco com\u00fan de 4a-metilhexahidrofluoreno, con anillos a\/b trans-fusionados, como (-)-taiwaniaquinona g, y de  4a-metiltetrahidrofluoreno, como (-)-taiwaniaquinona h y (-)-dichroanona. El anillo c de estos compuestos, denominados taiwaniaquinoides, se elabora mediante electrociclaci\u00f3n 6pi de un adecuado trieno bic\u00edclico.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de
