El patr\u00f3n oro en tonometr\u00eda es el ton\u00f3metro de aplanaci\u00f3n de goldmann (tag), que se ve influenciado en su medida por el espesor corneal central (ecc), de forma que cuando el ecc aumenta, aumentan las cifras de pio obtenidas con el tag. Para compensar el efecto del ecc, se han elaborado distintos nomogramas y se han dise\u00f1ado nuevos ton\u00f3metros que te\u00f3ricamente no se ven afectados por el ecc. La cirug\u00eda refractiva a su vez disminuye la medida de la pio, pero hasta ahora no se ha cuantificado completamente el efecto que tiene, ni el adelgazamiento corneal, ni la presencia de un corte intraestromal. En esta tesis doctoral comparamos los valores obtenidos mediante 3 tipos distintos de ton\u00f3metros (tag, ton\u00f3metro de contorno din\u00e1mico (tcd) y ton\u00f3metro de indentaci\u00f3n de schiotz (tis)) en 3 grupos de pacientes (pacientes no operados de cirug\u00eda refractiva, pacientes operados mediante la t\u00e9cnica lasik y pacientes operados mediante la t\u00e9cnica lasek), estratificando en cada grupo en funci\u00f3n del ecc. Se realiza un estudio multivariante en el que se incluye la edad, el ecc, el tipo de cirug\u00eda realizado y la rigidez ocular. Los resultado obtenidos muestran que la cirug\u00eda tipo lasek no modifica la pio salvo por la reducci\u00f3n del ecc, mientras que la cirug\u00eda lasik muestra un descenso adicional tanto con el tag como con el tcd, probablemente secundario al corte estromal.
