La an\u00e9cdota sirve de ejemplo a lo sucedido a diego jes\u00fas con la escritura po\u00e9tica: \u00abhice, hace ya muchoa a\u00f1os, un poema, y tambi\u00e9n me qued\u00e9 dentro&#8230;. No encontr\u00e9 puerta alguna. Para salir de aquel poema tuve que hacer otro, y para salir de \u00e9ste otro, y luego otro &#8230; Y hasta ahora\u00bb as\u00ed nace y prosigue la creaci\u00f3n y la escritura de uno de los poetas m\u00e1s importantes en lengua castellana de la segunda mitad del s. Xx.        su obra, no excesivamente amplia aunque s\u00ed muy rica, sugeridora y enraizada en la condici\u00f3n humana, se centra en la memoria colectiva y memorias individuales, en el devenir y su imparable camino, en la concienciaci\u00f3n ante el olvido de la herencia recibida de los antepasados as\u00ed como de la historia e historias tantas veces contadas desde la \u00fanica \u00f3ptica del vencedor. No estar\u00e1n ausentesla infancia e infancias, los primeros a\u00f1os en que asoma la consciencia, la realidad que le toca vivir aunque so\u00f1ada y transubstanciada en los poemas&#8230;       una po\u00e9tica personal que nace entre la duda y desconfianza de la posibilidad significativa de las palabras; la est\u00e9tica de la decantaci\u00f3n de im\u00e1genes, as\u00ed como la riqueza de un vocabulario muchas veces especial, constituyen algunas de las claves de este trabajo que s\u00f3lo pretende que el poeta pricense y su obra asciendan al lugar que siempre debieron tener, el de poeta
