Para llevar a cabo dicho estudio, la enzima fue expresada en pichia pastoris y purificada. Tras ello, fu\u00e9 posible llevar a cabo la caracterizaci\u00f3n bioqu\u00edmica de la xilanasa (temperatura y ph \u00f3ptimo y constantes catal\u00edtcas). Seguidamente se comprob\u00f3 el efecto de xyn11a sobre tejidos vegetales, infiltrando la prote\u00edna en hojas de tabaco y tomate. Se observ\u00f3 que la prote\u00edna es capaz de inducir necrosis y la producci\u00f3n de especies activas de ox\u00edgeno, lo cual es indicio de que la prote\u00edna se comporta como un elicitor de las respuestas de defensa de la planta. Se caracteriz\u00f3 adem\u00e1s la regi\u00f3n responsable de esta propiedad y se comprob\u00f3 la uni\u00f3n f\u00edsica de xyn11a a protoplastos de tabaco.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
