As\u00ed, se ha estudiado la condensaci\u00f3n del aminopoliol n-metil-d-glucamina con diversos aldeh\u00eddos arom\u00e1ticos, poniendo a punto una corta s\u00edntesis de n-metil-1,3-oxazolidinas. tambi\u00e9n se ha estudiado la condensaci\u00f3n de un aminopoliol m\u00e1s sencillo, el tris(hidroximetil)aminometano (tris), con diversos aldeh\u00eddos arom\u00e1ticos y formilheterociclos, comprobando la existencia de un fuerte efecto anom\u00e9rico en los derivados obtenidos que es el responsable de que la acetilaci\u00f3n de los condensados evolucione hacia las correspondientes iminas peracetiladas. por otra parte, tambi\u00e9n se han estudiado las condensaciones del tris con derivados del salicilaldeh\u00eddo, realizanto un detallado estudio de la tautomer\u00eda imina-enamina tanto en estado s\u00f3lido como en disoluci\u00f3n. Adem\u00e1s, se ha propuesto un m\u00e9todo que permite predecir la estructura predominante en disoluci\u00f3n en funci\u00f3n del car\u00e1cter electr\u00f3nico de los sustitutentes y de su posici\u00f3n. tambi\u00e9n se han preparado algunas n-aciloxazolidinas derivadas de la d-glucamina, y junto con otras recientemente preparadas por nuestro grupo de investigaci\u00f3n, hemos llevado a cabo un estudio del equilibrio conformacional de la agrupaci\u00f3n amida, encontrando que la proporci\u00f3n de rot\u00e1meros depende del efecto electr\u00f3nico de los sustituyentes del anillo arom\u00e1tico. finalmente, se ha realizado en la universidad de oxford la s\u00edntesis del aminopoliol c\u00edclico lyxnac, que junto con su n-bencil derivado contituyen ejemplos de
