A trav\u00e9s de un estudio emp\u00edrico realizado en las empresas m\u00e1s longevas de la regi\u00f3n de monterrey (m\u00e9xico) se analizan, por un lado, los  elementos integrantes del contexto de gesti\u00f3n que favorecen el aprendizaje organizativo, y por otro, los  rasgos que caracterizan a las empresas resistentes o perdurables. Asimismo, se analiza emp\u00edricamente si la capacidad de aprendizaje organizativo condiciona la resistencia (perdurabilidad) de las empresas estudiadas.  los resultados del estudio aportan evidencia emp\u00edrica de que existe una relaci\u00f3n positiva y significativa entre la capacidad de aprendizaje organizativo y la resistencia (perdurabilidad) empresarial. La resistencia (perdurabilidad) empresarial est\u00e1 explicada en un 61,8%  por la capacidad de aprendizaje organizativo.  respecto a los elementos relacionados con el contexto de gesti\u00f3n, el estilo de liderazgo es el elemento integrante del contexto de gesti\u00f3n que m\u00e1s favorece la capacidad de aprendizaje organizativo existiendo una relaci\u00f3n positiva (\u00edY=0,487) y muy significativa (t=4.4594), seguido por la cultura organizativa (\u00edY =0.3190; t=2.4494). No han sido verificados los supuestos planteados en el modelo con relaci\u00f3n a que la estrategia y el dise\u00f1o organizativo condicionan favorablemente la capacidad de aprendizaje
