La aplicaci\u00f3n directa de dichos modelos al campo de la astrof\u00edsica los enmarca dentro de un grupo m\u00e1s general: los modelos astroestad\u00edsticos.  1. Fundamentos te\u00f3ricos. (i) an\u00e1lisis de la se\u00f1al: descomposici\u00f3n de la energ\u00eda de una se\u00f1al gen\u00e9rica mediante la transformada de fourier y la transformada wavelet. Los momentos estad\u00edsticos como descriptores de la morfolog\u00eda de una se\u00f1al gen\u00e9rica. (ii) t\u00e9nicas de an\u00e1lisis multivariante: an\u00e1lisis de componentes principales robusto, an\u00e1lisis de componentes independientes y proyecciones significativas, con las correspondientes extensiones en t\u00e9rminos de redes neuronales artificiales de cada una de las t\u00e9cnicas.  2. Experimental. (i) caracterizaci\u00f3n y clasificaci\u00f3n en cat\u00e1logos estelares. (ii) la entrop\u00eda wavelet como medida efectiva del desorden en un proceso estoc\u00e1stico. (iii) m\u00e9todos de convoluci\u00f3n para la reducci\u00f3n de ru\u00eddo en im\u00e1genes espectrales. (iv) nuevo m\u00e9todo de detecci\u00f3n de episodios explosivos en im\u00e1genes espectrales mediante la combinaci\u00f3n del an\u00e1lisis de componentes independientes y el an\u00e1lisis
