Se utilizaron doce suelos sobrefertilizados representativos de amplias areas agricolas de la union europea con los que se realizaron diversos experimentos de liberacion de p, asi como cultivos en maceta para ver la disponibilidad para los cultivos y diversas simulaciones para el estudio del potencial contaminante de los mismos.  las formas de p diferian segun los suelos estudiados y condicionan los patrones de liberacion de p. Van a determinar tambien la disponibilidad de p para los cultivos y el potencial contaminante del suelo. Con tecnicas de extraccion de p sencillas y rapidas, como las empleadas en el presente trabajo, se puede estimar el p disponible para los cultivos y el p disponible para procesos
