La tesis describe el problema de estimaci\u00f3n mediante t\u00e9cnicas de teledetecci\u00f3n. Hemos conseguido un avance en cuanto a investigaci\u00f3n en nuevos modelos computacionales no convencionales para la estimaci\u00f3n de la cantidad de agua en diferentes entornos de vegetaci\u00f3n, uno de los mayores problemas que tiene la teledetecci\u00f3n,  ya que se requiere un estudio previo de la zona, recogida selectiva de muestras y tratamiento de \u00e9stas para conocer su estructura, composici\u00f3n y contenido de humedad. a trav\u00e9s de estas simulaciones hemos analizado la capacidad de discriminaci\u00f3n mediante el an\u00e1lisis de curvas roc (receiver operating characteristic), para posteriormente utilizar diferentes t\u00e9cnicas de softcomputing (inteligencia computacional), en concreto, modelos neuronales y evolutivos, para validar los experimentos. la metodolog\u00eda que se presenta en este trabajo para estimaci\u00f3n de contenido de humedad en vegetaci\u00f3n, se basa en la utilizaci\u00f3n de modelos de transferencia radiativa mediante la uni\u00f3n de modelos a nivel de hoja prospect (leaf optical properties spectra) (jacquemoud et al. 1990))  y de simulaci\u00f3n de cubierta sail (scattering by arbitrarily inclined
