De estos 56 eran mujeres y 45 hombres y la edad media era de 77,750 &#8211; 7,198 a\u00f1os. Como control se usaron 91 sujetos sin dmae ni alteraciones maculares significativas revisados en el hospital cl\u00ednico de salamanca. A todos los sujetos se les realiz\u00f3 un estudio de un polimorfismo de un solo nucle\u00f3tido (snp) de los genes arms 2, cfh, htra 1, vegf a y vegfr 2 en relaci\u00f3n con la susceptibilidad a padecer dmae y con la respuesta al tratamiento con ranibizumab intrav\u00edtreo resultados: \ten la poblaci\u00f3n incluida en nuestro estudio, el riesgo de padecer degeneraci\u00f3n macular se asocia con los genotipos gg del polimorfismo rs 1410996 del gen cfh (or: 2,176), tt del polimorfismo rs 1040924 del gen arms2 (or: 6,369) , gg del polimorfismo htra1 -625 (or:3,324) y gg del polimorfismo rs 2071559 del gen vegfr2 (or:2,010) \tlos genotipos del polimorfismo rs 1410996 del gen cfh, rs 833061 de vegf a y rs 2071559 de vegfr 2 se asocian con cambios en la respuesta al tratamiento con ranibizumab intrav\u00edtreo (p<0,05)  conclusiones: \tnuestro trabajo confirma que variantes al\u00e9licas de los genes cfh, amrs2, htra1 y vegfr modifican el riesgo de padecer dmae. \tla respuesta al tratamiento con ranibizumab intrav\u00edtreo est\u00e1 moderadamente influenciada por polimorfismos de los genes cfh y vegfr, lo que, de confirmarse en otras series, abre la posibilidad de su
