Ademas, en 12 pacientes se practico estudio spet.  previamente en todos los pacientes se realizo mamografia convencional.  en los 20 pacientes con carcinoma la gammagrafia con tl-201 fue considerada verdadero positivo. El tama\u00f1o de los tumores primarios oscilo entre 1,3-6 cm. En 4 de 9 casos se detectaron adenopatias axilares metastasicas. En 16 de los 20 carcinomas de mama se determinaron receptores hormonales.  en 23 pacientes la exploracion resulto negativa, correspondiendose en todos los casos con lesiones benignas. Los 2 falsos positivos se debieron a enfermedad fibroquistica y lipogranuloma. Los parametros de eficacia diagnostica fueron: s 100% (20\/20), e 92% (23\/25), vpp 91% (20\/22), vpn 100% (23\/23), p 95% (43\/45).  para la mamografia los resultados fueron: s 85% (17\/20), e 60% (15\/25), p 71% (32\/45).  la gammagrafia mamaria con tl-201 es altamente sensible en la deteccion de carcinomas primarios palpables, y puede ser util en la diferenciacion de la naturaleza benigna o maligna de las lesiones.  no se encontraron diferencias entre las imagenes precoces y tardias, ni entre imagenes planares y spet.
