Los pasos claves de dicha s\u00edntesis incluye la introducci\u00f3n de una cadena alqu\u00edlica y la posterior oxidaci\u00f3n del triple enlace hasta la correspondiente 1,2-dicetona.   Estos sustratos se sometieron a fotolisis empleando disolventes  adecuados (cdcl3 y c6d6) para dar productos de fotociclaci\u00f3n norrish-yang, la cual cursa a trav\u00e9s de una transferencia intramolecular de hidr\u00f3geno (tih) en posici\u00f3n gamma al carbonilo fotoqu\u00edmicamente excitado para generar  una especie 1,4-birradical que posteriormente ciclar\u00e1  formando un nuevo enlace c-c. Los productos de fotociclaci\u00f3n han cursado con rendimientos de moderados a excelentes (42-100%) y la diastereoselectividad de la formaci\u00f3n de las correspondientes ciclobutanolonas ha sido altamente eficiente en la mayor\u00eda de los casos. Adicionalmente, se ha estudiado el papel que juegan los factores est\u00e9ricos y estereoelectr\u00f3nico en el proceso de fotociclaci\u00f3n y se han llevado a cabo diversas transformaciones qu\u00edmicas sobre el anillo de ciclobutanolona evidenciando la alta reactividad qu\u00edmica de esta clase de anillos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
