Cine y pol\u00edtica es un proyecto de investigaci\u00f3n sobre la obra cinematogr\u00e1fica y la trayectoria profesional del cineasta donostiarra antxon eceiza. Analiza tanto sus elaboraciones te\u00f3ricas como sus producciones cinematogr\u00e1ficas. Sit\u00faa unas y otras en el contexto hist\u00f3rico, pol\u00edtico, industrial y cultural en el que le ha tocado a eceiza desarrollar su labor. Y estudia, complementariamente, en qu\u00e9 medida y de qu\u00e9 forma se traducen las teor\u00edas del autor en su producci\u00f3n cinematogr\u00e1fica. Junto a ello, esta tesis doctoral ofrece la oportunidad de investigar tres hitos del cine espa\u00f1ol que va de los a\u00f1os 60 a los 90: el realismo cr\u00edtico o dial\u00e9ctico, el nuevo cine espa\u00f1ol y el cine nacional vasco. A estas l\u00edneas b\u00e1sicas de investigaci\u00f3n se a\u00f1ade otra que impregna toda la experiencia vital del cineasta donostiarra: su estrecha relaci\u00f3n y compromiso con la pol\u00edtica.
