Para tal prop\u00f3sito estudiamos tres problemas gravitatorios en cuatro o m\u00e1s dimensiones en profundidad: la inestabilidad de gregory-laflamme  de cuerdas y branas negras en dimensi\u00f3n arbitraria (mayor que cuatro), la descripci\u00f3n gravitatoria del sistema d0-d6 desde el punto de vista once-dimensional, y ciertas generalizaciones de la m\u00e9trica c en cuatro dimensiones (siendo nuestra principal motivaci\u00f3n destacar puntos que ser\u00e1n presuntamente f\u00edsicamente cruciales en m\u00e1s de cuatro dimensiones). Todos estos problemas se estudian anal\u00edticamente con sofisticados m\u00e9todos exactos, como el m\u00e9todo de scattering inverso y el m\u00e9todo maison, y m\u00e9todos aproximados, como el m\u00e9todo deblackfold que contribuimos a desarrollar. Los m\u00e9todos exactos que usamos tienen aplicabilidad como generadores de soluciones de las ecuaciones de einstein bajo ciertas hip\u00f3tesis de simetr\u00eda.
