La metodolog\u00eda se construye en base a extensiones que incorporan a las especificaciones, modelos de referencia y procesos est\u00e1ndares propios de la ingenier\u00eda de componentes convencionales, esto es, sin requisitos temporales, los datos y los procesos necesarios para la especificaci\u00f3n, dise\u00f1o y an\u00e1lisis de los aspectos relativos al comportamiento temporal. La metodolog\u00eda se sustenta en cuatro contribuciones principales: &#8211;\tse propone la metodolog\u00eda de modelado modular del comportamiento temporal mod-mast, que permite construir el modelo de una aplicaci\u00f3n basada en componentes por composici\u00f3n de los modelos de los componentes que la forman.  &#8211;\tse propone la extensi\u00f3n rt-d&#038;c de la especificaci\u00f3n deployment and configuration of component-based distributed applications de omg, que permite incluir metadatos relativos a comportamiento temporal en los descriptores de componentes, plataformas de ejecuci\u00f3n y aplicaciones.  &#8211;\tse especifica la tecnolog\u00eda de componentes rt-ccm como una extensi\u00f3n de la especificaci\u00f3n est\u00e1ndar lightweight ccm de omg, que a\u00f1ade los mecanismos necesarios para desarrollar aplicaciones con comportamiento temporal predecible. &#8211;\tse propone la tecnolog\u00eda de componentes ada-ccm como implementaci\u00f3n concreta de rt-ccm basada en el lenguaje de programaci\u00f3n ada 2005. todos estos elementos se integran en un proceso completo de dise\u00f1o de tiempo real de aplicaciones basadas en
