Estos p\u00e9ptidos presentan dicha complejidad debido a su tendencia a agregar obteniendo de esta manera acoplamientos y desprotecciones de bajo rendimiento.  Mediante la utilizaci\u00f3n de diferentes resinas y elementos que tienen la propiedad de romper dichas interacciones formadas durante la elongaci\u00f3n del p\u00e9ptido ser\u00e1n optimizadas dichas s\u00edntesis.  Otra importante aportaci\u00f3n en la presente tesis, es la s\u00edntesis de seleno-peptidos que se fundamenta en la sustituci\u00f3n de ciste\u00ednas por selenocisteinas, siendo aplicados primero a un p\u00e9ptido modelo con tan solo un puente disulfuro, oxytocin y posteriormente a un p\u00e9ptido que presenta una mayor complejidad con la presencia de dos puentes disulfuros, conotoxin auib.  El principal objetivo abarca conseguir un sistema ortogonal cuando dos pares de selenocisteinas est\u00e1n presenten en un p\u00e9ptido y para ello dos grupos protectores fueron introducidos p-nitrobenzyl y o-nitrobenzyl que no solo fueron ensayados como grupos protectores del selenol sino tambi\u00e9n de tiol.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
