Una de las aplicaciones inmediatas del trabajo es el aumento del \u00e1rea \u00fatil de los ensayos, convirtiendo en vantaja lo que en principio es una limitaci\u00f3n: la reflexion de la ola en la paredes del canal.  el trabajo presentado muestra un gran rigor y facilita el conocimiento del comportamioento en la mar tanto de plataformas petroliferas como del buques, cuyas velocidades de avance
