{"id":104060,"date":"2010-01-10T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2010-01-10T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.deberes.net\/tesis\/sin-categoria\/dissolved-organic-matter-and-biovailability-of-cu-and-pb-in-the-marine-environment-a-test-of-free-ion-based-models\/"},"modified":"2010-01-10T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2010-01-10T00:00:00","slug":"dissolved-organic-matter-and-biovailability-of-cu-and-pb-in-the-marine-environment-a-test-of-free-ion-based-models","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.deberes.net\/tesis\/control-de-la-contaminacion-del-agua\/dissolved-organic-matter-and-biovailability-of-cu-and-pb-in-the-marine-environment-a-test-of-free-ion-based-models\/","title":{"rendered":"Dissolved organic matter and biovailability of cu and pb in the marine environment. a test of free ion based models"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Tesis doctoral de <strong> Paula S\u00e1nchez Mar\u00edn <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En este trabajo se estudia el efecto de la materia disuelta sobre la disponibilidad del pb disuelto en medio marino, utilizando tres modelos biol\u00f3gicos distintos: el mejill\u00f3n mytilus sp, y sus branquias; los embriones del erizo de mar (paracentrotus lividus) y dos especies de microalgas marinas, la diatomea thalasssiosira weissflogii y el flagelado isochrysisi galbana. utilizando tres tipos de materia org\u00e1nica disponibles comercialmente, y mediante el uso de la voltamperometr\u00eda de redisoluci\u00f3n an\u00f3dica, se comprueba que la materia org\u00e1nica es capaz de unirse a iones de pb, disminuyendo la concentraci\u00f3n de pb l\u00e1bil \/u, por lo tanto, tambi\u00e9n la de pb libre=) en el meio. Sin embargo, contrariamente a lo esperado en base a los modelos basados en el i\u00f3n libre, esta disminuci\u00f3n la concentraci\u00f3n de pb no se vi\u00f3 reflejada  en una disminuci\u00f3n de la biodisponibilidad del mismo para ninguna especie excepto para t. Weissflogii. Al cotnrario, los resultados muestran que la presencia de materia org\u00e1nica, en especial los \u00e1cidos h\u00famicos, aumenta notablemente tanto la toxicicad como la toma de pb por los organismos. tambi\u00e9n se muestra que la materia org\u00e1nicase adsorbe a la superficie del fitoplancton,  y que su presencia aumenta la tasa de crecimiento para la microalga i. Galbana. este trabajo muestra de forma clara que los efectos de la materia org\u00e1nica sobre la biodisponibilidad de los metales no est\u00e1n restringidos a la complejaci\u00f3n de metales de soluci\u00f3n, y probablemente sus propiedades adsortivas son responsables del aumento observado en la biodisponibilidad del pb.
