Se ha demostrado que este compuesto, previamente desconocido, posee un elevado inter\u00e9s como intermedio sint\u00e9tico. la 2,3-diciano-5,8-dicloroquinoxalina reacciona con aminas primarias produciendo 3-amino-2-ciano-5,8-dicloroquinoxalinas, las cuales adicionan hidracina y alquilaminas para dar las correspondientes 3-amino-5,8-dicloro-2-quinoxalinilcarboxamidrazonas y n-alquil-(3-alquilamino-5,8-dicloro-2-quinoxalinil)carboxamidinas, respectivamente. Las reacciones con alquil y arilhidracinas originan 1-alquil y 1-aril-3-amino-5,8-dicloroflavazoles, mientras que con amidinas dan lugar a las correspondientes 4-amino-6,9-diclorobenzo[g]pteridinas. En estas sustancias, la planaridad del grupo amino y su elevada barrera rotacional han sido objeto de un estudio mediante t\u00e9cnicas computacionales.  la 2,3-diciano-5,8-dicloroquinoxalina reacciona con alcoholes para dar 3-alcoxi-2-ciano-5,8-dicloroquinoxalinas, que experimentan procesos de sustituci\u00f3n del grupo ciano por hidracino, produciendo 3-alcoxi-5,8-dicloro-2-hidracinoquinoxalinas. Estos intermedios se transforman en 4-alcoxi-6,9-dicloro[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a]quinoxalinas por tratamiento con ortoformiato de trietilo. la reacci\u00f3n de 2,3-diciano-5,8-dicloroquinoxalina con o-fenilendiaminas genera 7,10-diclorofluoflavinas, que han sido caracterizadas inequ\u00edvocamente mediante una combinaci\u00f3n de m\u00e9todos experimentales y computacionales. De la reacci\u00f3n con anilinas se obtienen 3-arilamino-1-arilimino-5,8-dicloro-1h-pirrolo[3,4-b]quinoxalinas. por cristalograf\u00eda de rayos-x se han determinado las estructuras moleculares de los siguientes compuestos: (z)-5,8-dicloro-3-(p-fluorofenilamino)-1-(p-fluorofenilimino)-1h-pirrolo[3,4-b]quinoxalina, 3-[n,n-bis(4-clorobenzoil)amino]-5,8-dicloro-1-fenil-flavazol, 4-acetamido-6,9-dicloro-2-fenilbenzo[g]pteridina, y 6,9-dicloro- 4-etoxi[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a]quinoxalina, 5,12-diacetil-7,10-diclorofluoflavina.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
