La influencia de la funcion gonadal sobre la secrecion de gh estimulada por ghrp-6. 2. La interaccion entre ghrh y ghrp-6. 3. La influencia de vias colinergicas y adrenergicas sobre dicha secrecion.  en animales hemos realizado con un sistema de perfusion continua los siguientes estudios: 1. Estudio del dimorfismo sexual en la respuesta de gh a ghrp-6.2.  efecto de los estrogenos en la respuesta de gh a ghrp-6 en ratas macho. 3. Efecto de la gonadectomizacion y de la administracion de dht en ratas macho. 4. Influencia de la glucemia en dicha secrecion.  las conclusiones de estos estudios han sido: 1. Ghrp-6 es un potente estimulador de la secrecion de gh en humanos sin que existan diferencias en la respuesta de gh entre hombres y mujeres ni entre estas a lo largo de su ciclo menstrual. 2. Ghrh y ghrp-6 presentan un claro efecto sinergico sobre la secrecion de gh.3. La atropina bloquea la respuesta de gh a ghrp-6 mientras que la piridostigmina la potencia. 4. La hipoglucemia insulinica potencia la respuesta de gh a ghrp-6 en humanos. 5. La via alfa adrenergica estimula la secrecion de gh a traves de receptores alfa 2 y la inhibe a traves de receptores alfa1. Parece que los receptores beta tambien estimulan dicha secrecion. 6. Existe un claro dimorfismo sexual en la respuesta de gh a ghrp-6 en las ratas. 7. La administracion de estrogenos potencia en la rata macho la respuesta de gh a ghrp-6. 8. La gonadectomizacion y la administracion de dht no modifican la respuesta de gh a ghrp-6 en la rata macho. 9.
