Existen algunos estudios que sugieren la implicaci\u00f3n de ciertas peptidasas en los fen\u00f3menos proliferativos del ri\u00f1\u00f3n, por lo que en la presente tesis doctoral se analizaron un grupo de peptidasas en diferentes neoplasias renales. Este grupo engloba enzimas con distinta localizaci\u00f3n y pertenecientes a diferentes familias, que adem\u00e1s emplean sustratos distintos. Algunas de ellas son, adem\u00e1s, conocidos marcadores tumorales. Las neoplasias renales estudiadas fueron seleccionadas por su frecuencia, origen histogen\u00e9tico y agresividad.  se estudiaron los niveles de actividad enzim\u00e1tica, la expresi\u00f3n tisular y los niveles de mrna de las peptidasas seleccionadas, tanto en carcinomas renales y oncocitoma renal, como en sus respectivos tejidos normales adyacentes.  as\u00ed, se encontraron alteraciones selectivas en los distintos tumores y en las distintas fracciones subcelulares analizadas, que no afectaban por igual a todas las enzimas. Las diferencias entre la actividad enzim\u00e1tica, la expresi\u00f3n tisular y la expresi\u00f3n g\u00e9nica, translucen diferentes mecanismos de regulaci\u00f3n. Adem\u00e1s, el diferente origen histogen\u00e9tico de los subtipos neopl\u00e1sicos analizados podr\u00eda condicionar los diferentes patrones mostrados en la actividad y la expresi\u00f3n de algunas de las peptidasas estudiadas.
