El reactor de spouted bed c\u00f3nico presenta grandes ventajas sobre otras tecnolog\u00edas para la pir\u00f3lisis de poliolefinas, debido al uniforme recubrimiento de las part\u00edculas de catalizador o arena y la ausencia de aglomeraci\u00f3n y consiguiente defluidizaci\u00f3n. se comparan los resultados en r\u00e9gimen discontinuo y con alimentaci\u00f3n continua de pl\u00e1sticos (1 g min-1). En ambos reg\u00edmenes se ha trabajado con dos alternativas: i) sin catalizador (pir\u00f3lisis t\u00e9rmica); ii) con catalizador \u00e1cido in situ (craqueo catal\u00edtico).  la utilizaci\u00f3n de catalizadores preparados con zeolitas hzsm-5 (con dos relaciones sio2\/al2o3), h\u00edY y hy, ha permitido establecer el efecto de la selectividad de forma y de la acidez de las zeolitas sobre la actividad, selectividad y resistencia a la desactivaci\u00f3n, lo que resulta de utilidad para predeterminar la composici\u00f3n de los productos. Adem\u00e1s, se ha estudiado el comportamiento de un catalizador usado de fcc. Con catalizadores de zeolita hzsm-5 se ha estudiado el efecto de la temperatura, del caudal de hdpe alimentado y de la naturaleza de la poliolefina sobre los rendimientos y composici\u00f3n de productos.  por su importancia para la viabilidad econ\u00f3mica del proceso se ha caracterizado el coque que desactiva el catalizador y estudiado en profundidad la relaci\u00f3n de la deposici\u00f3n
