Combining both methods, silica core-shell microcapsules encapsulating specific organic compounds are obtained. The organic materials chosen for this work vary from epoxy resins, for the self-healing application, to the phase change materials for the latent heat thermal energy storing functionalisation. Furthermore, several studies such as, changing the ph of the reaction during the hydrolysis step, varying the method used to obtain the emulsion (by mechanical stirring or by a combination with sonication) as well as modifying the mechanical stirrer speed during emulsion step, have been carried out to observe the effects on the synthesised microcapsules. Scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, particle size distribution studies and thermogravimetrical studies have been carried out to characterise the microcapsules.  addition of the encapsulated organic compounds to the cement paste has been performed and different characterisations such as, scanning electron microscopy, mechanical tests and differential scanning calorimetry have been carried out to prove the suitability of the proposed strategy.  resumen  en este trabajo, la adici\u00f3n de microc\u00e1psulas de s\u00edlice que contengan distintos materiales org\u00e1nicos sobre la pasta de cemento es presentado como una primera aproximaci\u00f3n de dotar a los materiales cementicios de dos nuevas funcionalidades. Por un lado, la capacidad de auto-reparaci\u00f3n, y por otro, la de almacenar la energ\u00eda del calor latente.  las microc\u00e1psulas son sintetizadas combinando la qu\u00edmica sol-gel con la tecnolog\u00eda de emulsi\u00f3n, obteniendo microc\u00e1psulas con envoltura de s\u00edlice que en su interior contienen los compuestos org\u00e1nicos seleccionados. Los escogidos en esta tesis corresponden a las resinas epox\u00eddicas, pensadas para la auto-reparaci\u00f3n, y los materiales de cambio de fase, utilizados para el almacenamiento de la energ\u00eda del calor latente. Con la idea de estudiar c\u00f3mo cambian las propiedades de las microc\u00e1psulas, se han realizado diversas modificaciones en los par\u00e1metros que afectan a su s\u00edntesis, tales como variaciones en el ph durante la etapa de la hidr\u00f3lisis, aplicar ultrasonidos durante la etapa de emulsi\u00f3n o variar la velocidad del agitador mec\u00e1nico utilizado para obtener la emulsi\u00f3n. Para la posterior caracterizaci\u00f3n de las microc\u00e1psulas se han utilizado varios m\u00e9todos como la microscop\u00eda electr\u00f3nica de barrido, microscop\u00eda electr\u00f3nica de transmisi\u00f3n, granulometr\u00edas y termogravimetr\u00edas.  tras la adici\u00f3n de las microc\u00e1psulas en la matriz cementicia, se ha procedido al estudio de la viabilidad de la estrategia propuesta utilizando para ello t\u00e9cnicas de caracterizaci\u00f3n como la microscop\u00eda electr\u00f3nica de barrido, los ensayos mec\u00e1nicos y la calorimetr\u00eda diferencial de barrido.  laburpena  lan honetan, zementua funtzio berriez hornitzeko asmoz, silizezko mikrokapsulen gehitze estrategia proposatzen da. Kasu honetan bilatzen dena autoerreparazioa eta bero sorra biltzeko gaitasunak dira.  materiale organiko desberdinak gordetzen dituzten mikrokapsulak sintetizatzeko sol-gel kimika eta emultsio teknolog\u00eda bateratu dira. Aukeratutako osagai organikoen artean, epoxi-erretxinak autoerreparaziorako, eta fase aldaketa materialak, bero sorra gordetzeko ahalmena nahi denerako aurkitzen dira. Mikrokapsulen sortze prozesuan eragiten duten aldagaien azterketa ere egin da, hidrolisi prozesuko pha aldatuz, emulsioan ultrasoinuak erabiliz edo emulsioan erabilitako irabiagailu mekanikoaren abiadura aldatuz. Lortutako mikrokapsulen karakterizaziorako, ekorketazko mikroskopia elektronikoa, transmisiozko mikroskopia elektronikoa, granulometriak eta termograbimetriak erabili dira.  zementu matrizera silizezko mikrokapsulak gehitzean, proposamenaren bidegarritasuna eta propietateen karakterizazioari ekin zaio.
