De esta forma, se han reproducido diversos defectos asociados a la cicatrizaci\u00f3n diab\u00e9tica, haciendo del modelo propuesto una herramienta de gran utilidad que permite el estudio de las bases biol\u00f3gicas y moleculares subyacent es a esta patolog\u00eda, minimizando el uso de muestras de pacientes. Adem\u00e1s, dicho modelo ha permitido evidenciar la capacidad regeneradora de matrices d\u00e9rmicas bio-ingenierizadas en un contexto impedido, corrigiendo las alteraciones propias del lecho d iab\u00e9tico y por tanto avalando su uso en cl\u00ednica para el tratamiento de \u00falceras diab\u00e9ticas.  asimismo, hemos puesto a punto la metodolog\u00eda necesaria para el desarrollo de un modelo porcino de cicatrizaci\u00f3n diab\u00e9tica cuyos resultados preliminares nos h acen confiar en la posibilidad de emplearlo como una plataforma \u00fanica para evaluar abordajes de
