Viridis han puesto de manifiesto que este organismo produce una pl\u00e9tora de poli\u00e9teres triterp\u00e9nicos derivados del escualeno. Estos metabolitos adem\u00e1s de poseer una gran diversidad estructural han demostrado tener interesantes actividades farmacol\u00f3gicas, principalmente como agentes citot\u00f3xicos y\/o inhibidores selectivos de la prote\u00edna fosfatasa tipo 2a.  as\u00ed, en la presente memoria damos cuenta del aislamiento e identificaci\u00f3n de 19 nuevos poli\u00e9teres derivados del escualeno: 1,2-dehidropseudodehidrotirsiferol 54, secodehidrotirsiferol 55, espirodehidrovenustatriol 56, 14-cetodehidrotirsiferol 57, pretirsenol a 58, 13-hidroxipretirsenol a 59, 15-dehidroxitirsenol a 60, 14-hidroxiyucatecol 61, yucatecona 62, saiyacenol a 65, saiyacenol b 66, adejeno a 68, adejeno b 69, 22-hidroxidehidrotirsiferol 70, piranodehidrotirsiferol 71, nivariol a 72, nivariol b 73, prelongileno 75 y 23,24-dehidroprelongileno 76. Junto con estos metabolitos, se aislaron los compuestos (+)-per\u00f3xido de longileno 50 y (+)-longileno 51, que aunque ya hab\u00edan sido aislados anteriormente, no pudieron ser caracterizados completamente en ese momento.
