<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>A partir de la formulaci\u00f3n de la hip\u00f3tesis de que la configuraci\u00f3n urbana de la barcelona actual, debe gran parte de su morfolog\u00eda al establecimiento de las diferentes l\u00edneas de ferrocarril desde 1848, y dichas l\u00edneas, a su vez, deben la configuraci\u00f3n de sus trazados a la condici\u00f3n de plaza fuerte que ostent\u00f3 la ciudad de barcelona hasta 1858, se lleva a cabo en esta tesis el an\u00e1lisis de los condicionamientos geogr\u00e1ficos e hist\u00f3ricos del establecimiento y desarrollo del ferrocarril en barcelona, en relaci\u00f3n con la morfog\u00e9nesis de la ciudad, a lo largo de los ciento sesenta y dos a\u00f1os (1848-2010) de la implantaci\u00f3n y funcionamiento de este medio de transporte en la capital
