Una parte del silicio habitual en la composici\u00f3n, cuya misi\u00f3n principal es retrasar la precipitaci\u00f3n de carburos en la bainita, se ha sustituido por aluminio para conseguir mejoras en su posterior recubrimiento por electrozincado usual en aplicaciones dirigidas al sector de automoci\u00f3n. Estos constituyen la familia mn-al. se comienza por definir el concepto f\u00edsico del fen\u00f3meno trip y los m\u00e9todos industriales de obtenci\u00f3n de este tipo de aceros. Estos est\u00e1n constituidos por ferrita, bainita y una parte de austenita que ser\u00e1 la que transforme en martensita por deformaci\u00f3n. se han identificado los puntos cr\u00edticos de transformaci\u00f3n a varias velocidades de calentamiento y enfriamiento. Ha sido posible conseguir, en ciertas condiciones, un nivel de austenizaci\u00f3n total. Se han determinado los tratamientos isot\u00e9rmicos \u00f3ptimos para obtener un mejor compromiso entre resistencia a la tracci\u00f3n y alargamiento. Se ha conseguido desarrollar una metodolog\u00eda apropiada para la preparaci\u00f3n metalogr\u00e1fica de este tipo de aceros de estructura multif\u00e1sica. Se ha realizado una bater\u00eda de ensayos de torsi\u00f3n para ajustar la ecuaci\u00f3n de zener-hollomon-garofalo y determinar los coeficientes de ajuste y de ah\u00ed deducir el mecanismo de deformaci\u00f3n en caliente que lo controla.
