El enfoque de esta tesis, que se centra en los personajes femeninos salidos de la pluma de ciges aparicio. Por las p\u00e1ginas de sus novelas, desfilan mujeres que son meros espejos en donde el elemento masculino se contempla y admira; la mujer, as\u00ed, responde al deseo masculino que le atribuye un valor simb\u00f3lico espec\u00edfico. Nos centramos en la figura femenina, adem\u00e1s, debido al hecho de que la obra narrativa del autor enguerino se sit\u00faa en un contexto social y cultural espec\u00edfico \u00abfinales del siglo xix y comienzos del siglo xx\u00bb, periodo donde la mujer (especialmente en otros pa\u00edses de europa) se convierte en tema actual en los c\u00edrculos intelectuales, al mismo tiempo que comienza a salir de su hogar y a ocupar t\u00edmidamente los espacios p\u00fablicos que previamente le eran vedados. Los libros de ciges, as\u00ed entendidos, pueden ser interpretados como una manifestaci\u00f3n de las preocupaciones socio-culturales de la \u00e9poca.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos
