Tradicionalmente este estr\u00e9s se ha relacionado con efectos da\u00f1inos para la c\u00e9lula (genestra, 2007). Sin embargo, en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os se ha comprobado que los ros pueden funcionar tambi\u00e9n como reguladores de la se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n celular. Sin embargo, son  muy escasos los art\u00edculos que impliquen a los ros en la regulaci\u00f3n de procesos biol\u00f3gicos generales, como por ejemplo la diferenciaci\u00f3n celular. En este trabajo, se muestra por primera vez que la diferenciaci\u00f3n megacarioc\u00edtica de las l\u00edneas celulares k562 y hel y de las c\u00e9lulas humanas cd34+ est\u00e1 acompa\u00f1ada por un r\u00e1pido incremento de los niveles intracelulares de ros. Dicho incremento es esencial para que se lleve a cabo el proceso de diferenciaci\u00f3n. Mediante experimentos de arn de interferencia hemos comprobado que la producci\u00f3n de ros se debe a la actividad de una o varias nadph oxidasas dependientes de p22phox. La actividad de estas enzimas ser\u00eda esencial para que se produjera la activaci\u00f3n completa de las rutas de se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s importantes para la diferenciaci\u00f3n megacarioc\u00edtica: la ruta de las map quinasas mek\/erk y la ruta de akt.  una de las posibles dianas moleculares de los ros son las prote\u00edna tirosina fosfatasas (ptps). As\u00ed, estas enzimas se pueden oxidar por acci\u00f3n de los ros produci\u00e9ndose la inhibici\u00f3n de las mismas (den hertog, 2005). En nuestro sistema detectamos una disminuci\u00f3n de la actividad ptp\u00e1sica una vez iniciada la diferenciaci\u00f3n megacarioc\u00edtica. Adem\u00e1s, el tratamiento con inhibidores de dicha  actividad indujo la megacariopoyesis. Cuando analizamos la implicaci\u00f3n de ptps espec\u00edficas en la diferenciaci\u00f3n megacarioc\u00edtica, comprobamos que la expresi\u00f3n de ptp-bas se activaba a nivel transcripcional y que la
