La preparaci\u00f3n y la caracterizaci\u00f3n de los compuestos heterobimet\u00e1licos establece un gran avance en el dise\u00f1o de catalizadores t\u00e1ndem que permitan catalizar secuencias catal\u00edticas formadas por reacciones muy diferentes. \tla utilizaci\u00f3n de los ligandos de tipo bis-alquenil-nhc, ha permitido dise\u00f1ar de forma sistem\u00e1tica compuestos en los que el ligando act\u00faa como mono-, bi- y tri-dentado. Los compuestos derivados de la coordinaci\u00f3n de los ligandos bis-alquenil-nhc han sido probados como catalizadores en reacciones de hidrosililaci\u00f3n de alquinos, observ\u00e1ndose que la actividad catal\u00edtica depende del grado de coordinaci\u00f3n del ligando nhc.
