Tambien se sintetizaron el (+-)-cis-4(aminometil)-2-ciclopetenilmetanol y el (+-)-c-4-(aminometil)-t-2,t-3-dihidroxi-r-1- ciclopentilmetanol bajo la forma de su 20,30-isopropiliden- derivado a partir del norbornadieno, todos ellos intermediarios en la sintesis de analogos carbociclicos de nucleosidos (acn).  para la construccion de estos acn, se sintetizaron sobre el grupo -nh2 de cada aminoalcohol precursor, las bases puricas o pirimidinicas naturales o modificadas elegidas.  se ha sintetizado tambien el (+-)-cis-acetato de 4-(hidroximetil)-2-ciclopentenilmetilo y sobre el se ha construido el derivado de adenina correspondiente, introduciendo directamente la 6-cloropurina por reaccion de mitsunobu.  los nucleosidos carbociclicos finales, todos ellos racemicos, estan siendo sometidos a ensayos de actividad antivirica frente a una gran variedad de virus y\/o cepas y a ensayos de citotoxicidad sobre celulas huesped. Los resultados obtenidos hasta el momento que corresponde a los acn derivados del anillo de ciclopentano, mostraron escasa o nula actividad antivirica en las pruebas efectuadas a concentraciones
