Se han estudiado las entalpias molares de exceso de mezclas binarias y ternarias a 298.15k y presion atmosferica, seleccionando como refrigerantes metanol, trifluoroetanol (tfe) y tfe-agua, y como absorbentes diversas amidas y poliglicoleteres. Las entalpias de exceso de las mezclas binarias formadas por tfe o metanol y tegdme (tetraetilenglicol dimetil eter) o pegdme 250 (polietilenglicol dimetil eter), metanol+ amida (nfm o n-formilmorfoline, nmp o n-metil-2- pirrolidinona y dmpu o dimetilpropilenurea), agua + tegdme y agua + tfe, y del sistema ternario tfe + agua + tegdme se han determinado utilizado un microcalorimetro calvet estandar. Los datos experimentales se correlacionaron con los modelos moleculares de wilson, nrtl, uniquac y wang et al.  tambien se aplicaron diversas ecuaciones empiricas para predecir las entalpias de exceso ternarias. En el caso de las mezclas con metanol, se utilizaron los modelos de contribucion de grupos de unifac (tassios, larsen y gmehling) y disquac para analizar la bondad de los resultados
