La diversidad microbiana se analiz\u00f3 por m\u00e9todos moleculares basados en an\u00e1lisis de rna ribos\u00f3mico (bacterioplancton) y en la expresi\u00f3n (mrnas) de genes involucrados en fotos\u00edntesis (picocianobacterias y fitoplancton eucariota). En comparaci\u00f3n con los controles, la adici\u00f3n de diesel provoc\u00f3 un incremento del n\u00famero total de procariotas, una disminuci\u00f3n del n\u00famero de picocianobacterias y una reducci\u00f3n de la expresi\u00f3n de genes involucrados en fotos\u00edntesis. La composici\u00f3n microbiana metab\u00f3licamente activa (bacterioplancton y fitoplancton) cambi\u00f3 r\u00e1pidamente frente al tratamiento (17-27h), las comunidades resultantes fueron diferentes al control y diferentes entre ellas al compararlas temporalmente (invierno\/verano).
