Un acercamiento cognitivo a estructuras de sonido significativas en poemas de marlowe, hopkins, williams, spark y heaney. (poetry and sound: the hidden meaning) \tel tema de la tesis surge de la idea de que l os sonidos no est\u00e1n distribuidos en un poema \u00c2\u00bfo prosa- de una forma aleatoria, sino que existe un mecanismo cognitivo que lleva a los escritores a distribuir los sonidos de una determinada manera para profundizar en el significado de la pieza literar ia. \tpara poder llevar a cabo mi investigaci\u00f3n comenc\u00e9 por analizar poemas de distintos autores \u00c2\u00bfchristopher marlowe, g.M. Hopkins, emily dickinson, maurice maeterlinck, williams carlos williams, wallace stevens y seamus heaney, encontrando en todos ellos una estructura de sonido; los distintos fonemas no estaban distribuidos en sus poemas de cualquier forma sino siguiendo unos patrones que ayudaban a la comprensi\u00f3n de estos poemas. \tpor otro lado comenc\u00e9 a leer todos los trabajos que pod\u00eda hall ar sobre sonido y su significado, encontrando a varios investigadores que llamaron mi atenci\u00f3n: cynthia whissell de la universidad de sudbury en ontario, canad\u00e1,  reuven tsur y su libro what makes sound patterns expressive?, Gilles fauconnier y sus l ibros mapping in thought and language y conceptual blending and the mind\u00c2\u00bfs hidden complexities, escrito en colaboraci\u00f3n con mark turner y mental maps, analogy in creative thought, escrito por keith j. Holyoak y paul thagard.  Whissell ha desarrollado  un diccionario de la emoci\u00f3n bas\u00e1ndose en el estudio de los sonidos y tsur ha investigado lo que \u00e9l llama cognitive poetics. Los otros autores han desarrollado la teor\u00eda de \u00c2\u00bfmapping\u00c2\u00bf y la creaci\u00f3n de espacios mentales que los seres humanos desarroll amos con nuestra capacidad cognitiva. \tdentro de esta idea de cognitive poetics, decid\u00ed profundizar en los conceptos de la ling\u00ed\u00bc\u00edstica cognitiva para encontrar una relaci\u00f3n entre los mismos y la distribuci\u00f3n de los sonidos en las piezas literarias. C onceptos como prototype, trajector, landmark, windowings of attention, logogen box, input spaces, generic space, blended space y otros pueden ser aplicados a los sonidos y a su distribuci\u00f3n por parte de los escritores. \tuna vez encontrado esto, comen c\u00e9 a buscar los autores que iban a ser el centro de mi tesis donde tratar\u00eda de demostrar mi hip\u00f3tesis.
