investigaci\u00f3n se plantean las relaciones intr\u00ednsecas entre la biograf\u00eda y el sistema filos\u00f3fico de uno de los pensadores latinoamericanos m\u00e1s sobresalientes del siglo xx: jos\u00e9 vasconcelos (1882-1959).   para esto, el estudio se apoya, por un lado, en la idea de la biograf\u00eda filos\u00f3fica, en tanto que subg\u00e9nero de la historia de la filosof\u00eda; y, por otro, en algunas ideas de la teor\u00eda de las generaciones de ortega y gasset, as\u00ed como en algunas otras de la hermen\u00e9utica anal\u00f3gica de mauricio beuchot.    a partir de \u00e9stas, se propone una reconstrucci\u00f3n de su biograf\u00eda y al mismo tiempo una interpretaci\u00f3n de sus ideas filos\u00f3ficas en las distintas etapas de su vida: a\u00f1os de formaci\u00f3n (1882-1910), donde prevalecen el cristianismo de su madre y el positivismo del sistema educativo mexicano; las mocedades (1910-1924), cuando participa en la sucesi\u00f3n del positivismo al espiritualismo junto con los miembros del ateneo de la juventud, participa en la revoluci\u00f3n mexicana, publica los primeros esbozos de las ideas claves de su sistema filos\u00f3fico (el monismo est\u00e9tico, la revulsi\u00f3n de la energ\u00eda, la teor\u00eda del mestizaje y la ley de los tres estados de la sociedad), hace importantes reformas a la educaci\u00f3n y destacan sus ideas sobre latinoam\u00e9rica; la madurez plena (1925-1938), en la que sobresalen su candidatura a la presidencia, sus exilios y la elaboraci\u00f3n de su sistema filos\u00f3fico que se compone en una metaf\u00edsica, desde un punto de vista intelectualista, una \u00e9tica y una est\u00e9tica; y, finalmente, la senectud (1938-1959), en la que regresa a m\u00e9xico, se dedica a algunas labores culturales (dirigir bibliotecas y promover los estudios filos\u00f3ficos), replantear algunas ideas (filos\u00f3ficas, religiosas y pol\u00edticas) y la parte final de su sistema: la
