Con esta finalidad, se ha procedido a realizar un an\u00e1lisis de los planos l\u00e9xico, sem\u00e1ntico, morfol\u00f3gico, sint\u00e1ctico, gr\u00e1fico y f\u00f3nico de un corpus de 60 anuncios para productos de este tipo publicados en el mismo periodo de tiempo y en los diarios principales de los respectivos pa\u00edses. \tpara contextualizar el estudio, nos adentramos en los primeros cap\u00edtulos en el fen\u00f3meno de la publicidad en s\u00ed, su evoluci\u00f3n a lo largo del \u00faltimo siglo, su importancia como sector  econ\u00f3mico y los principales rasgos de los planos mencionados ya destacados por expertos en la materia. Asimismo, definimos los productos y servicios financieros y presentamos datos rigurosos acerca de su importancia en la econom\u00eda actual, as\u00ed como su expansi\u00f3n hasta principios de la primera d\u00e9cada del siglo xxi. Presentados estos datos, procedemos a describir nuestro corpus, desgranando sus principales contenidos y los modos de comunicaci\u00f3n utilizados. Los pen\u00faltimos tres cap\u00edtulos contienen nuestro an\u00e1lisis de los planos del lenguaje mencionados, junto con los resultados obtenidos. \tdestacamos tres aportaciones originales como s\u00edntesis de nuestros resultados: en primer lugar, hemos realizado una descripci\u00f3n de las caracter\u00edsticas discursivas de los anuncios publicitarios impresos de productos financieros como tipo textual, teniendo en cuenta los planos l\u00e9xico-sem\u00e1ntico, morfosint\u00e1ctico, gr\u00e1ficos y f\u00f3nicos en ingl\u00e9s brit\u00e1nico y castellano. Una segunda aportaci\u00f3n, consiste en la descripci\u00f3n de las diferencias observadas entre las caracter\u00edsticas discursivas de los anuncios que promocionan bienes de consumo y los que ofertan productos y servicios financieros. Por \u00faltimo, ofrecemos una comparaci\u00f3n entre las caracter\u00edsticas del discurso utilizado en la publicidad dentro de este sector de productos entre las lenguas y las culturas
